Velie Real Estate Foundation is a disaster relief organization created to help those that need immediate help due to sudden and/or unforeseen relief most recently as a result of displacement, massive property damage, unemployment and serious health issues due to COVID-19 and Civil Unrest or needing help with situating refugees from Ukraine.  Fear is a debilitating emotion. It has the ability to “freeze” a person into seeing only walls with no way forward. The war in Ukraine has created very real disaster for many families seeking a place to be safe. We are here to help small business, families or individuals with immediate rent or mortgage needs to bridge the gap until the storm has passed.

Velie Real Estate Foundation (EIN #85-0650809) is a Minnesota nonprofit corporation recognized as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Charitable contributions to Velie Real Estate Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed under applicable law. Dedicated to disaster relief with our local focus on helping people in the Twin City area with mortgages, rents, and utilities related to Home and Real Estate expenses that have been caught in this unequaled time of job loss and diminished income.

The Foundation has been set up to make payments directly to the mortgage holders and/or the service providers on behalf of the recipients to ensure that the money goes to where it is intended.

The Velie Foundation is changing people’s lives by providing financial assistance during the COVID-19 Pandemic. They saw a need, took action and are delivering on their mission!
— Sol B. Ryan, Director of Sober Living, Alumni & Community Relations
